Marta began her career as a Fine Art video artist gaining a degree at Kingston University, she continued her training as a runner at Rushes Post-production. After working for Birds Eye View film festival and freelancing as a video editor for charities such as War on Want and cutting various documentaries, shorts, trailers, music and arts videos for clients such as Polly Leys (Producer of “The Full Monty”) and Stephen Sherman (Director of Channel 4′s “Bear Grylls”). She now runs Filmdependence, a platform for independent directors to complete their films and documentaries. Since it’s inception she has edited 5 feature documentaries, including Award winning “Afghan Girls Can Kick”. She also works through Blueberry Creative Consultants editing everything from news packages for CNN to an award winning travelogue web series for Whiteboat TV.
